Three days ago I caught the midnight train down to Sydney to go see FLorence + the machine live at the entertainment centre with these two beautiful people.
The concert was out of this world, Florence had goddess-like stage presence and I was lucky enough to be right at the barricade for the entire performance. Being within arms length of Florence while she pranced around stage singing her lungs out was an experience I will never forget.
Although the concert was ah-ma-zing, I think the most special part of the trip was being able to spend quality time with two of the loveliest, most optimistic and selfless friends I have.
For one I left my phone and keycard at home, meaing I had to transfer money into my friends account and use their keycard and phone for everything -which they quite happily let me do. They were so understanding about it haha.
Then as a surprise my friends booked a visit to the aquarium, (my most favourite place in Sydney!) and only told me once we were right out the front of the centre, I felt so humbled by their unnecessary kindness.
Anyway, the trip was fantastic. I ate the best macarons in the whole world at Zumbo’s patisserie (http://adrianozumbo.com/), accidently got a free tram ride, stayed in a lovely hotel, bought many cheap clothes, made plenty of gifs of aquarium creatures, patted a star fish, and explored the bustling streets of the city -
Right now I could not feel more content <3
